About Me

Jessica Garcia (she/they) is a Queer Latina writer and director from Inglewood, CA. Since graduating from UC Merced with a Bachelors in English, Jessica has dove into the art of storytelling as a Writer and Video Producer for mitú and Creative Producer for MyCode. Altogether, the videos she has produced and directed have gained a total of over 20 million views, including integrated and sponsored content for prominent brands such as Toyota, Viva La Bonita and Clorox. With all of the stories Jessica shares, her goal is to bring authentic Latine and Queer representation to the screen. Ultimately, Jessica wants to make the movies that she wished she had seen growing up.
